RPG Resources
We’ve put together some resources specifically for the Role Play Game community. These can help you get started in your first game, or if you are an experienced gamer, find new ways of building inclusive games.
Table Tools
Table Tools are an easy way to ensure that everyone at the gaming table is having fun. Get templates and information on our recommended safeguarding table tools. We also provide these for conventions and RPG clubs on request.
Codes of Conduct
A code of conduct is a great way of making boundaries clear to everyone at your event or club. It protects your players and it protects you. We have a number of sample code of conducts, including our own which anyone is welcome to re-use.
Become the GM Guide
Become the Game Master! was originally written as part of our “Become the Game Master!” workshop. It was co-written by No More Damsels, Adventurers Wanted, and World Anvil. The guide is available for anyone to use, regardless of whether or not they attended the workshop.
For future workshops, check out our events page.
RPG First Timer Guide
Always wanted to play an RPG, but not entirely sure what an RPG is? We’ve put together a short guide of what you can expect from your first game. The guide is general - different RPGs will have slightly different rules, but the way they work will remain basically the same.
Representation in Fantasy Book Suggestions
If you want to add diversity to your RPG games, reading books written by women, non-binary, and BAME authors is a good place to start. We’ve suggested some authors who are re-shaping the fantasy genre and filling it with diverse characters and new settings.
Anti-Racism Resources for Tabletop Games
If you’d like to learn more about how racism can impact tabletop gaming, or how to make your games more welcoming and inclusive, check out our list of Anti-Racism Resources.
