Code of Conduct
No More Damsels creates a supportive environment for women, transgender and non-binary people to enjoy tabletop games. Our events are open to all, but aim to lift up the voices of gender diverse players, who are often underrepresented at regular tabletop events. To allow us to do that we ask that you help create a positive culture by respecting your fellow players and make sure everyone at the table is having a good time! In short, be kind to one another.
Thank you

Game Masters
Please ensure that your game does not stigmatise, alienate, or marginalise any individual or group. In particular:
Inform us in advance if your game will include plot points of racism, sexism, homophobia, sexual assault or harassment, or abuse. We reserve the right to reject your game if we believe it is inappropriate for the event we are running.
Respect the boundaries of your players.
Use of Miniatures
If you are a game master or an attendee using miniatures as part of either a wargame or a role playing game, please ensure that the models used do not stigmatise, alienate, or marginalise any individual or group. In particular:
Inform us in advance if your miniatures include any real world military or political symbols.
Inform us in advance if your miniatures includes themes of nudity, racism or sexism.
We reserve the right to reject your game if we believe the miniatures you are using are inappropriate for the event we are running.
X Cards
To ensure our games are fun for our players, all role play game tables are required to have an X Card. If you feel a game is going in a direction that makes you uncomfortable, you can use an X Card to make your concerns clear. Visit our Table Tools page for more information on how to use X Cards: https://www.nomoredamselsrpg.org/table-tools.
When using the X Card:
Respect the concerns of the person who has used the X Card.
Do not harass people for using an X Card.
If you are harassed during a game and the X Card does not help, please speak to a member of the NMD team immediately. You should always feel free to leave a game you are not comfortable in. We will try and address the problem as soon as possible.

To discuss any incidents or behavior in violation of this code of conduct, please contact any of the No Damsels team, either in person at the event (we will identify ourselves at the welcome), by emailing nomoredamselsrpg@gmail.com or send a message using our contact form. If the person who is harassing you is on the team, they will not be involved in handling your incident. We will respond as promptly as we can.
