Learn to GM with No More Damsels

At NMD we're regularly contacted by people who want to bring more people into tabletop but they often follow up with "but I've only GMed a couple of times" or "I've never GMed but I'd like to try!". We love receiving these messages because it shows how enthusiastic people are to make gaming more inclusive!

So to encourage more women, nb and trans people to run their first game and get confident running games, we're running this fundamentals workshop.

Become the Game Master is comprised of three workshops.

1PM: We'll start with Game Master Essentials run by the No More Damsels team, which will give you the skills to get behind the screen and start storytelling. We'll be talking about what makes a 'Good GM', creating collaborative stories with players and how to think on your feet!

2:30PM: Break!

3PM: Chloe Mashiter and Chris Hislop from Adventurer's Wanted will be hosting Theatre Skills for Game Masters. Using their theatrical expertise they'll be enhancing your roleplaying, teaching you how to create atmosphere and memorable NPCs!

4PM: Janet Forbes from World Anvil will be helping you create engaging experiences in Making an Immersive Game World. Learn how to expand your GMing beyond the tavern to create epic storylines and legendary consequences!
